Steve Storm is a multi-faceted and hard-working individual. He loves to play golf and works behind the scenes in operations for professional golf tournaments. Steve has worked on major events such as the Nabisco Dinah Shore Tournament (more than 20 years), Skins Game, and many other events in the men’s and women’s professional golf associations.
He enjoys finding solutions and new ways to facilitate efficiency while working with a team in tournament operations.
Steve’s favorite is timespent with family and on the golf course.
Marcy Storm has worked in the accounting industry for more than 30 years with a multitude of businesses. As Assistant Controller of Landmark Land Development Company's Real Estate Division (1984-1989), she managed the general accounting department. Her responsibilities included, among other things, providing projections, assumptions, and financial reporting for several divisions of the company.
Following her position at Landmark, she chose to work at home and raise her family. She owned and managed Storm Business Services in Palm Desert, California for more than 10 years and moved to Chico in 2003.
Marcy started SMS Management Group, Inc. in 2005 and provides payroll and bookkeeping for professional, agricultural, retail, and a diversity of other business owners. She is a California Certified Association Manager and SMS manages more than ten associations. Her favorite way to spend time is with family and she enjoys organizing service projects.
Teresa Sexton has worked with us since 2011. Her attitude of diligence and integrity are incredible. Teresa has an abundance of construction management and office organization in her experience. She is our resident payroll expert and a Quick Books Pro Advisor. Teresa loves being with her family and playing board games.
Jo Askey has worked with us since 2013. Her joyful approach to solving problems and working hard are a blessing to all. Jo has an organizational background and uses her skills to keep everyone on the right track. Jo loves being creative in the kitchen and her family and grandkids are the light of her life!
Curt Askey has worked with us since 2015. He is an astute and motivated man of many talents. He is a Certified Community Association Manager who also brings over 30 years of accounting experience with many types of businesses. Besides spending time with his wife, Curt enjoys camping with his family and horseback riding in the mountains with his sons.
